Thompson DE Jared Smith will announce a commitment at 5 p.m. this evening. I still consider Auburn the team to beat and remain confident that the Tigers are about to add another member to their 2025 class. South Carolina continues making a hard push, so if there were to be an upset, that seems like the likely landing spot. However, I think Auburn's done enough in this one to seal the deal.

UPDATE: Smith will announce at 7 p.m.

I'll be on site in Birmingham this evening.
