Confirming a report from Matt Zenitz, Auburn indeed has hired Roc Bellantoni as an assistant coach on the defensive side of the ball. It'll probably be outside backers/EDGE, but I wouldn't carve that into stone.
Bellantoni was at Auburn during the 2022 season under Harsin. He's been at FAU since then, serving most recently as defensive coordinator. He was retained after FAU changed head coaches recently, but Bellantoni is leaving FAU to come here.
