2016 CLASS

QB Woody Barrett - West Orange (Orlando, Fla.) beat Jones, 42-26, to improve to 3-1. Barrett was 0 for 4 passing with an interception, but rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries. His season totals through four games: 34 for 69 passing (49.3 avg.) for 577 yards, seven touchdowns and two interceptions. Also has 70 carries for 609 yards (8.7 avg.) and eight touchdowns.

CB John Broussard - Central (Phenix City, Ala.) lost to Opelika, 27-21. Broussard didn't register any stats and was part of a secondary that gave up 224 yards passing to Jake Bentley, Opelika's junior QB and son of Auburn offensive analyst Bobby Bentley. Jake was 12 for 21 passing for 224 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions.

DE Marlon Davidson - Greenville (Ala.) beat Georgiana, 21-8, to improve to 5-0 on the season. Davidson had an interception, but his tackle totals weren't ready at go-time. He had 25 tackles, 10 tackles-for-loss and seven sacks in the first four games.

OT Brodarious Hamm - Spalding (Griffin, Ga.) blanked Pike County, 45-0, to stay undefeated at 5-0.

DT Tashawn Manning - Wekiva (4-1) beat Winter Garden, 14-7. Stats not available, yet.

WR Marquis McClain - Crestview (3-2) won its second straight, a 54-28 win over Pace. McClain had three carries for 91 yards and a touchdown (62). GAME HIGHLIGHTS and MID-SEASON HIGHLIGHTS

RB/ATH Malik Miller - Madison Academy had a bye this week. Miller rushed for 204 yards and a touchdown on 43 carries before injuring his quadriceps and sitting out the past three games. He's expected to return to action this week.

DE Daquan Newkirk - First Academy (2-3) lost to The Villages Charter, 28-21. Newkirk rushed for 43 yards on eight carries, and had two receptions that totaled 42 yards. Newkirk has rushed for 629 yards on 58 carries (10.8 avg.) and scored eight touchdowns in five games. He hasn't played a lot of defense (he's the team's star RB), but does have two tackles to his credit.

TE Landon Rice - Calhoun (5-0) didn't have any problems beating Ringgold, 60-3. Rice caught a 30-yard touchdown pass from the H-back position, rushed for a 30-yard touchdown, had three pancake blocks and added a bull rush on defense. On the season, Rice now has four receptions for 55 yards and a touchdown and rushed for a 30-yard score on offense, has 11 tackles on defense and a blocked punt on special teams. WR Elijah Stove - Niceville (Fla.) improved to 4-1 with a 35-32 win over Tate. Stove returned to action and caught seven passes for 156 yards and two touchdowns (74, 55). He also rushed for 21 yards on two carries finishing with 177 all-purpose yards. Stove has 15 receptions for 229 yards (15.3 avg.) and three touchdowns in three games this season. He also has 52 yards rushing on five carries (10.2 avg.). STOVE'S GAME HIGHLIGHTS

LB Tre Threat - Spanish Fort (Ala.) had a bye this week. Toros are 5-0. Threat has 16 tackles, including eight solos, three tackles-for-loss and six quarterback-hurries in three games.

2017 CLASS

OT Calvin Ashley - Dr. Phillips (Orlando, Fla.) lost to Mainland, 28-7, and fell to 2-4 on the season.

DB Carlito Gonzalez - Stephenson (Stone Mountain, Ga.) had a bye this week. Gonzalez has 17 tackles, including 10 solos, a forced fumble and a pass breakup in four games this season.

QB Lowell Narcisse - Out (injury)

ATH/RB Alaric Williams - Southside (Gadsden, Ala.) improved to 4-2 with a 24-9 win over St. Clair County.Williams, after sitting out last week with an injury, returned to rush for 93 yards on 13 carries. Williams had four touchdown runs negated for penalties, including runs of 62 and 45 yards. MID-SEASON HIGHLIGHTS
