I know he’s the whipping boy for some on here, even to the point where people cheer for him to fail (or at least revel in it when he does), but that dude picked us up in the second half when we needed it. He FTs when he couldn’t walk well, and even tried to come back out at the end.
And when it was clear we had the W, it showed him on the bench with tears in his eyes. He is a loose cannon. Head case. Sometimes bad decision maker. But this dude cares a whole effing lot. There’s a reason his teammates love him, despite the miscues. And he clearly loves his team.
I believe we need to declare this the end of the Chad hate. The end of the “Chad Baker Bizarro” crap. The insults. The celebrations when he fails. He has made mistakes, but he has just helped lift us to the third Sweet 16 in my lifetime, and I think he has earned a reprieve.
