The broadcast showed Bruce telling the guys during a timeout that they needed to attack strong offensively- to not count on drawing a foul cause of how the refs were calling the game.
CJ definitely played like that - he’s really progressing from sometimes playing somewhat “hesitant” near the basket to attacking and going up strong. It showed yesterday.
Cardwell - just a huge guy and clearly an incredible athlete. He is an invaluable asset to the team for always being around the ball - and his effort is second to none. Yet with all that being said, (aside from monster alley oops) he seems to throttle back a lot when he has the ball under the basket. It just looks like when he tries to score down low, he almost looks “timid” compared to how he plays in all other facets. Doesn’t it feel like he could use his beast mode more at the rim? Go up stronger - dunk vs trying to lay the ball up with “touch?” We sure could use a couple more scores from him in situations like that.
Just an observation. I love this team.
