Maybe I’m crazy but the current fighting Pearls remind me so much of this team. This shows the way they defended Shaq and Kobe and left the other Lakers open to make plays so not exactly apples to apples. The defense they played and style of play in the NBA was so much better to watch than the current model. I know we shoot our share of threes as every team does these days but I think our mid range game is helpful especially since our guards getting to the rim or lack thereof is a bit of a weakness. Not to join the Tuscaloosa tidbits board but bama is all analytics and threes and layups. Not a bad strategy but somewhat boring ball to watch and if you take away one of those they are kinda screwed
