** Looking forward to play at LSU. POG: OFF TJ Finley, DEF Zakoby McClain, ST Anders Carlson, OL Brodarious Hamm, FL Colby Wooden.
** Had a spirited practice Sunday. We found a way to win. That was the message. Plenty of things to clean up. Feel like everybody in team meeting is ready to do that.
** Made a change at WR position. Cornelius Williams is a good man, showed up every week and worked hard, very professional. Feel like we needed to make a change for what we need to do moving forward. Appreciate what he did for us when he was here.
** Excited about Eric Kiesau taking over at WR. He understands the position and does well with the WR's. Worked with them yesterday and worked on the game planning.
** Have to do a better job of game planning. Have to do better in the red zone. Did some good things on special teams to keep us in the game.
** Got to get back to playing good football and executing the things we need to. LSU is very good. Their QB is playing well. He's getting better. Got some very good WRs. Their OL is very good and they play hard. On defense, they're No. 1 in the SEC in sacks. Got guys in front 7 that are very good. That's going to be a challenge for us. Got to find ways to run it and move the ball and be explosive at times.
** Heard plenty of stories from players and coaches that have played at Tiger Stadium. Excited about playing in that atmosphere. It's going to be a good week of getting better. This team has the want-to and desire to do that.
** No decision on starting QB for this week yet. We're going to get QBs prepared, have a Tuesday practice. Proud of TJ for having himself ready. That's hard for backup QBs and it takes mental toughness. You don't know when your time is coming and you have to be ready. He didn't slack on preparation. He was ready.
** Bo Nix wants to be out there. He's a hard worker, driven, competitor. I expect him to have a great week of practice and be ready. Those two guys get the majority of reps at every practice. Both guys played hard on Sunday. We'll see how they operate during Tuesday's practice. We need to find ways of getting the ball in the end zone. You should be smelling blood in the red zone.
** Has never fired a coach four games into a season. It's not ideal, I understand that. It impacts a lot of things. It was just what I felt like we needed to do. Feel like it will help us as we move forward in that room and into future as we start building this program. There was no incident or tipping point.
** Coach Kiesau is a very good teacher. He understands what we want to do, why we want to do it. He's a very good technician. Very detailed. He will do things to help us improve at the WR position. Every player on this team needs to get better every week. The season doesn't get easier, you have to get better. You have to sacrifice a lot to be physically and mentally ready to play every day. Coach Key will do a good job of that. He's a competitor, very driven, motivated.

** Can't have two different gameplans for both QBs. That's impossible. You have to have THE gameplan that everyone is on board with and ready to execute against LSU.
** Harsin didn't know about the Barn Burning in 1996 (I think) but is going to find out more about the Auburn-LSU rivalry and all the crazy things that have happened. We just need to be locked in and ready. I don't know what's going to come up but we need to be ready to respond to whatever happens. A lot of it is your mentality and mindset. Things to go all perfect or how you want it to. Got to feed off the adversity, you should expect it on the road.
** Expecting a physical game against LSU. It's an SEC ballgame and two good team. We're working on trying to be a good football team. If one team is not physical it will be very obvious. Got to turn it on and play physical for 3.5 hours.
** What happened with C-Will was not fun. It's tough. We have to deal with it and get back to work.
