Bruce Pearl is speaking to us before they play an exhibition against FAU tomorrow:
- On the Furman game, he said that he thought Auburn played hard defensively against Furman and that Furman runs good stuff which tested Auburn
- The difference between Furman and FAU is the athleticism gap and that Auburn will have to play better than it did against Furman
- Miles Kelly will be available and will play tomorrow, but he won't play a ton
- Asked about the point guard play, he said it was good and that it will continue to get better. He added that all three point guards are either new to the position or didn't play for him last year, which he’s never had
- On the freshmen: "I think both are going to be real contributors for us. Both have a different level of speed and athleticism." He said that both will be fan favorites because of that.
- "He's bigger, faster, stronger than a year ago." Mentioned that he could barely recognize Chaney when he went back and watched film from last year
