** Pearl thinks AU is 2-5 in last seven games against Texas A&M. Has been a tough game for us as far as systems matching up.
** This is an opportunity to go undefeated on the road. "That would really be something." One win away from most wins in AU regular season history.
** TAMU is athletic and deep as any team in the league. Great rebounding team, get to the foul line, good in transition. A lot of challenges.
** Will know more on Denver Jones after practice today. It was a soft tissue injury. It could hold him out but it won't hold him out for long.
** TAMU rebounds 55% of their misses, which is a challenge.
** Not an opportunity to try something new. Got a lot to play for including No. 1 overall seed in NCAA Tournament.
** Not going to talk about possible plans against TAMU if Denver can't go.
** Every team as letdowns but not this team. It's a combination of respecting their opponent and wanting to make history. We had to play really well to win at Rupp. It was very difficult.
** Coach Freeze has an incredible family. He's a man of faith. His only consideration on the diagnose was how it affected everybody else like his family and team. He's a special human being.
** Chad Baker-Mazara is healthy now. He's an important playmaker and defender. You have to have upside this time of year. Miles Kelly showed it at UK. Tahaad Pettiford showed it. Alabama showed it last year. Our 2019 Final Four team still had a lot of upside going into tournament. We showed we still have upside.
** Johni Broome impacts winning with everything he does. Every game is an opportunity to demonstrate that he's the best player in college basketball. The best way to do that is win.
** Not a time to reflect on season. Focused on Texas A&M. Grateful for how this team has been blessed this season.
** Denver Jones is so valuable to this team and for us to win the game without him was incredible.
