Bruce Pearl is speaking to the media via Zoom today as No. 1 Auburn prepares to host No. 6 Tennessee. Click refresh, will continue to update...

** We'll practice this afternoon and there's a possiblity Johni Broome will try to practice. Don't know if he's questionable or possible. Will know more next couple of days.

** This is our AUTLIVE game. The best way to outlive cancer is to test for it early. You can go to autlive.com and donate, 100 percent goes to patients that are battling cancer. It goes to the people that need the help the most.

** Tennessee and Auburn have been the best two teams in the SEC over the last eight years (by winning percentage). Pearl said he's proud to be a part of that. UT plays as good of defense as anyone in the country and can shoot in from 3. They've played an incredible schedule. AU will have to be at its best.

** So far, we're the only school in the country that's hosted College Gameday five year in a row (Duke and Kansas could do same). Happy for our players, students and University.

** Zakai Ziegler is one of leading assist guys in country, a brilliant passer. Already set UT record for steals. Great shooter. One of best all-time players at UT.

** We have to find other ways to score if Johni can't go. UT is great at ball pressure. They will scout us very well. We're going to have to execute and make tough shots. They're very physical on both ends of the floor.

** Everybody has had to step up last couple of weeks. To best two ranked teams last week, especially at UGA, speaks to the depth and balance of our team. Miles Kelly continues to be our most consistent road player. CBM had a great 2nd half. We all guarded. We don't win at UGA without Ja'Heim Hudson.

** Johni is a big playmaking part of our offense and a lot of our offense comes from his passing.

** Chaz Lanier is one of most impactful transfers in college basketball. Has great size and quick release. He makes big shots, from 3 and midrange. He's a player they've been able to count on.

** The non-conference schedule has benefitted us in some close SEC games. We haven't finished as well as we need to down the stretch. We've missed free throws, turned it over and gave up layups. Hopefully, we've learned from them and will improve.

** Looking at Dylan Cardwell's diet and hydration so he doesn't cramp up again. He's playing more minutes and doing so without getting into foul trouble, which has been a key. He impacts winning in a huge way. He should be considered for national defensive POY. He's the best defensive player in our league. Defense and rebounding win championships and we've got the best in our league.

*****THAT'S ALL*****
