"When we were No. 1 back in 2022, we spent several weeks there and I felt like we were the best team in the country."
Notes that Auburn has seven Quad 1 wins ... with zero of them at home.
On MSU: "They're dynamic offensively. They shoot the three ball very well. This might be one of (Chris Jans') best offensive teams. They're going to finish in the top of the league."
On MSU's fast pace: "It's personnel-driven. He's got a number of guys that can shoot it."
He has no timeline for Johni's return.
On the other guys stepping up with Johni out. "We'll still go inside. It's still a strength for us. He's a stat-sheet stuffer. So much of the way we built our team ... has been around him. We're all gonna have to step up."
On being No. 1: "It's a box checked. We're no bigger a target at No. 1 than No. 2. We recognize the value of what this does analytically. A win over us moves you up a line or two ... or three. It'll be a great challenge for us. It would be a great challenge for us with Johni Broome."
