Today ought to be a nice reprieve from the SEC gauntlet and we should see our guys play loose and free. I'd expect everyone to play and we'll probably get Jahki up on the rim a couple times. I know that's important to some of you.

Round two gets a little dicier. We're 15-20 pts better than both, but both are capable of taking us down. Louisville has been hot and has some quality pieces, while Creighton has Ryan Kalkbrenner and Doug McDermott's wacky defense. I'd much rather play Louisville. I do not believe location should even be a factor here and many are giving it too much weight. If we can't take down Louisville anywhere, we cant win it all any way. Ideally, we cruise through Lexington and have some momentum going to the Sweet 16.

Sweet sixteen matchup likely versus Michigan or A&M is what worries me the most about our draw. Lots of excuses about the loss in College Station, but they have two really good guards and they will get more possessions than us due to offensive rebounding. Michigan is hot right now and feature two 7 footers that can both reslly play, plus a defensive minded guard that knows our system. Again, we're better top to bottom, but these are two teams I'd have preferred to avoid. I do love that it's in Atlanta, though. Huge draw for us and I expect Auburn fans to play a role.

Elite 8 is pure speculation, but obviously Michigan State would be the favorite as the 2 seed. They don't particularly scare me. A healthy Iowa State does, but I don't think that's been a thing since Maui. At this point in the tournament, everyone can win the whole thing so, again, really happy it's in Atlanta if we can get to this point.

It's been an amazing season and I hate that one way or another it will be over in the next three weeks. With that said, Auburn has a real shot at a national championship in BASKETBALL. March Madness is upon us and I fully expect things to go haywire (hopefully not for us). The next four days are my favorite of the year!
