and we debuted a new way to win tonight ... volume shooting ala Bama/Oats.

The defense excelled in spurts, and the offense would be rock solid 2-3 possessions in a row then disappear for 3-4, and so it went.

Loved seeing contributions up and down the bench tonight. Turtle again stepped up. I love Dylan Cardwell and always will, but that little spin step through Turtle scored with was slicker than any offensive play DC has made his entire time at Auburn. Dude's minutes will rise.

Poor JPP. Got in, committed a reach foul, was on the bad end of a lazy pass from CBM, got pulled. Speaking of CBM, he's a magician around the rim, but he's also prone to extended fits of pure laziness or glam passing. We TO 8 times tonight and I think he had 3 or 4, will have to go back and look.

Jahki was learning a lesson. Again.

If the refs had called fouls like that in the UT contest both teams would have had 4-5 players foul out. Gross.

LSU has some athletic hoopsters and a few pure scorers, but no pure shooters, even Carter. Still, our defense makes everyone look bad.

@Archie got his relatively easy win. Must've smelled it coming.

Johni is at about 75% and still dominated. Nice stat padder for the Wooden Award. I doubt he really REALLY cares about that, but I want to see him win it.

Loved Bruce going to zone to prevent the quick score since we couldn't stay with Carter on the dribble drive. The game was already more or less over, but that tells me he is acutely aware of polls, computers, Vegas and the weight of expectation. Nice cover on the road.

I hope the Bullies skullfook Bama. That is all.
