This game is starting to worry me. Yes, we booty blasted them last year and it’s also possible Sam Pittman is fired before mid-season. But, they’ve been getting very positive reports out of fall camp, their QB is a gamer and Petrino knows how to run an offense. Their DLine will be strong going against our likely biggest offensive weakness being the OLine.
And our game with them was an outlier… they played LSU to a FG loss in BR. The lost to OM in Oxford by a TD. And they lost to bammer in Tuscaloosa by a FG.
We should definitely be favored to win, but I don’t hear enough people mentioning this as a potential toss up type game and I think it might belong in that category.
