That's a loss on Auburn's end. Was injured this season but a talented, young pass rusher. Jared Smith was a key part of the 2025 class and this just gives him even more of an opportunity to play significant minutes this fall. I kinda of expected him to be in the playing rotation regardless.
I believe AU is close to adding a portal edge to the fold, which was/is another key need.
