#2 All teams should play the same # of games in the playoffs.
We need an 8 or 16 team playoff. I prefer a 16 team playoff.
8 of these smaller, earlier bowl games, with sufficient seating, would have a huge boost in income by hosting the first round.
It could possibly mean 7 wins for out of playoff teams to get a bowl bid, because 16 bowl bids would be removed from the number of bowl bids.
Example of a smaller bowl: The LA Bowl, played on 12/18, played @ SOFI Stadium, had 24K in attendance. SOFI stadium seats a minimum of 70K not including 260 luxury boxes. Lots of lost revenue there.
