I was pondering over this on the way back home from the game last night. We aren’t a jack up 3’s all night basketball team like a lot of Bruce’s teams have been in the past. We also aren’t a pound it inside all night team either. I think we haven’t been better in the half court this year than we were last year, but that’s not a very high bar to reach. I think our best offense is in transition off of our defense. I believe that’s why we got scorched yesterday. We didn’t get stops on the defensive end and didn’t force many turnovers. It forced us into playing a game away from our strengths. I thought our shot selection was also particularly poor and we tried to force things that weren’t there when we fell behind early. Thoughts?
