When you wear your Auburn ‘gear’ in public?
Took the fam to the game yesterday. We all had some AU swag on as you do on game day,. It was simple stuff, polo, t-shirt, and jeans.
After the game, I took wifey and the kiddos to Perimeter Mall to go to Macy’s and I was fiend’ing for some Maggiano’s Chicken Parm. We don’t have one where I live, so we ate supper there.
2 different tables got up from their meal to approach me and ask why we were wearing AU stuff.
I guess in a way it’s kind of nice. I said we went to the game and it was over. That said, part of me is mortified that folks want to come and bother a (IMO) a lovely family of 4 to ask why they are dressed as they are. (I wouldn’t do that.)
Am I wrong to be a bit miffed? Does this happen to y’all and how do you handle it?
