With the opt outs, transfers portal, and 12 team playoff looming..these bowl games are miserable. Why not move them from the end of the season to the first 3 weeks of the season and make it a part of the regular season? Not based on records, but relevant programs obviously could get invited to better bowls. Auburn playing Cal/Maryland in the Birmingham bowl in the second week is a lot more compelling than Saturday regardless of the outcome. Orange Bowl Invitational instead of this vomit that’s on TV.
