Clemson F RJ Godfrey has locked in a visit to the Plains for next week. He's an interesting case of a very athletically gifted athlete learning to turn those tools into skills.
He's 6-foot-8, but he split time at Clemson between wing and power forward. Came off the bench for them.
Most observers believe he's looking for a home that will afford him a starting job out of the gate. Auburn isn't that place — he'll have to beat out Chaney Johnson — but this roster is getting pretty nasty. In fact, the roster may be getting so strong that a player like Godfrey signs on because he really wants a ring. Or rings.
