Fans of Pantera, or metal fans in general, may have heard that the band has reformed as recently started a new world tour. The new lineup has Phil and Rex joined by Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante and Ozzy Osbourne and Black Label Society guitarist Zakk Wylde.
I wasn't a fan of this "reunion" tour. To me, Pantera was Vinnie Paul and Dimebag Darrel. However, seeing these videos, they sound great. Phil is singing like he did 20+ years ago and seems very appreciative of this opportunity. Benante is killing it on drums, sounds just like Vinnie. Zakk is doing a good job too. He's not trying to emulate Dime. It's still Zakk. His tone is close to what it usually is with BLS and he isn't really doing much differently style wise.
