there were small arms skirmishes with IDF in at least 13 locations in the West Bank. The Jewish population in the West Bank, and in East Jerusalem, exceeds 500,000, and they are fairly well distributed throughout the region. Israel cannot conduct the same kinds of strikes in the West Bank that it is conducting in Gaza without great risk because of the density of Jewish settlers in those areas.

There are at least 4 or 5 independent but jointly coordinated militia units operating in Israel, based in Gaza and the West Bank, and there are several foreign units providing logistical support and conducting missile/rocket strikes both within and without. Lebanese Hezbollah is conducting selected strikes and Israel has struck Hezbollah positions inside Lebanon. Syrian Arab Army units and LH units have been mobilized to the Israeli-Syrian demilitarized border. Iran supplies and directs these units, directly.

If the Revolutionary Guard seeks to directly move equipment or supplies to these forces, they will come into close proximity with US forces stationed in Syria to discourage such logistical support.

Israel has not requested that the US deploy troops or conduct air strikes, yet.

If this becomes a 2 or even 3 front war, it seems all but certain that the US will become more heavily involved. Our troops in Syria and Iraq are most definitely on high alert.

Things are getting dicey over there.
