I have a hvac question for any bunkerites with knowledge in that area.
My home has two units. A bigger unit controls the whole main floor. 6-7 rooms, 2300ish square feet. The smaller unit is for the bonus room above the garage. That room is used about 60% of the time as a bedroom by our eldest daughter.
My question is this: Could we repurpose the smaller hvac unit to control some of the rooms down stairs and then install a mini-split for the bonus room?
Is it possible? Is it worth? Any other thoughts?
