Watching this YouTube video with former interns and they are talking about the coaches getting mad at them for giving other coaches credit for recruits and point blank telling them they hover around the program too much. Someone close to Bobo was talking about Harsin getting fired and Bobo knew we were in trouble when he had to drag Harsin to recruiting meetings.
Soesking if Harsin, they told a story where a recruit was on a visit and the coach hosting him literally could not find Harsin on a Sunday. That recruit waited like an hour and had to leave while being told they couldn’t find the head coach.
anotehr story is they were recruiting a GA recruit and Harsin told them that he wasn’t as high on the board anymore and to back off. Literally the next day in a meeting Harsin asked about that recruit. The coaches told him he said to back off yesterday and Harsin made up some BS about he didn’t say that.
It was worse than any of us probably realize. I just don’t understand why Harsin acted like he was on the same level as Saban and didn’t have to recruit or that nothing was his fault.
