I'm hurting just as much as the rest of you, but in the bigger picture, Freeze beat little nicky tonight. We need a big influx of talent, and we need it fast. Tonight, in front of some of our biggest recruiting needs, we showed them what "will be" not what "can be", with just a few upgrades at certain positions. Nicky could not afford a close game with so many top recruits on the fence. He needed a blowout and got exactly the opposite.
I wish we could have won, and I know those boys who laid it all on the line tonight do too, but in a way we did win and more so for the future of the AU program.
