- Zero ties to Southeast
- Not known as a particularly strong recruiter
- SEC could be a shock to the system
- Following the greatest coach in the history of the game at a place that is not going to be overly patient

- Staff? Bringing UW guys could be a problem on the recruiting trail. Taking recommendations from others on staff hires could result in chemistry issues and philosophical differences.
- What is Saban's involvement? Office in the stadium, wants to be involved, if needed. This seems weird to me and could be a distraction. But what is DeBoer going to do? Tell a legend to kick rocks and stay out of his business. This is an interesting dynamic to me.
