I’m not on the bandwagon of “we’re gonna flip all these guys”. Only one of them seems ours. I’m hoping we do flip these players and I know Hew has worked his magic before. He did last year.
I do believe no one recruits harder than our guys. But these players committed elsewhere because they were recruited longer, have connections there and got offered big money there. One uncommitted one wants to play close to home and that ain’t AU. Another uncommitted guy doesn’t know what he wants.
Hope we aren’t disappointed like in 2012’s class. We thought we might get about 8 top 150 guys and only got one (Avery Young).
We will soon know. I’m sure hoping things break our way.
