* LB coach Lance Thompson is scheduled to visit with Arizona Western Community College DE Jonathan Kongbo on Friday. Kongbo committed to Tennessee on Sunday, but Auburn is working to get him in for a visit Dec. 11-13.

* Gus Malzahn and Will Muschamp were scheduled to make an in-home visit with LB Zach McCloud on Thursday, but the visit has been postponed, according to McCloud. The LB said on Sunday that his in-home visit from AU would be Wednesday (today), but actually was Thursday. Regardless, it's been postponed.

"It was set for tomorrow (Thursday)," McCloud sent via text. "But they had to reschedule."

McCloud wasn't sure of the new date, only that the visit no longer would be on Thursday.

* Auburn DE commit Daquan Newkirk received a visit Wednesday from area recruiter Scott Fountain. Malzahn was scheduled to be with Fountain for his in-home visit, but postponed it to a later date.

* Malzahn, Travaris Robinson and Rodney Garner all made an in-home visit with DE commit Paul James III on Sunday, the first day of the contact period. The three coaches met with James and his family in his hometown of Miami, Fla.

* Auburn OT commit Brodarious Hamm received a visit Wednesday from Garner, Hamm's area recruiter. OL coach J.B. Grimes is scheduled to visit Hamm on Tuesday, Dec. 8. Hamm has set his official visit to Auburn for the weekend of Jan. 15-17. He will not take any other visits.

* Garner also made an in-home visit Wednesday with DT commit David Marshall.

* OC/QB coach Rhett Lashlee visited with QB commit John Franklin III on Wednesday. Malzahn and Lashlee are scheduled to make an in-home visit with Franklin on Saturday, Dec. 12, in the QB's hometown of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

* TE coach Scott Fountain and RB coach Tim Horton are scheduled to attend TE commit Landon Rice's game on Friday. Rice and Calhoun face Blessed Trinity in the AAA state playoffs.

* WR coach Dameyune Craig met Tuesday with five-star WR Nate Craig-Myers. Craig also visited with Craig's half-brother, three-star ATH/CB Jayvaughn Myers.

* Craig met on Monday with four-star WR commit Elijah Stove.

* Horton visited Tuesday with Harding Academy (Memphis, Tenn.) sophomore OT Will Lawrence.

* Horton and Lashlee will make an in-home visit with Paramus (N.J.) Catholic WR Donald Stewart on Saturday.

* Horton and Lashlee also will visit with De Paul Catholic (Wayne, N.J.) five-star RB Kareem Walker on Saturday.

* Horton visited with Madison Academy four-star RB/ATH Malik Miller on Monday. Malzahn will make his in-home visit with Miller on Dec. 13.

* Malzahn and DC Will Muschamp are scheduled to make an in-home visit with Santaluces (Lantana, Fla.) LB Zach McCloud on Wednesday.

* Muschamp and Thompson made an in-home visit Monday night with five-star DT Rashan Gary and mother.

* Thompson visited earlier Monday with Nassau (Garden City, N.Y.) Community College DT Tyrell Chavis.

* Thompson visited with Gordo five-star LB Ben Davis on Tuesday.

* Thompson visited Sunday with former Maryland DT Adam McLean.

* Garner visited with Miami (Fla.) Central DE Keir Thomas on Sunday.

* Garner visited Tuesday with Jackson-Olin junior LB Tadarian Moultry. Auburn later extended an offer. -> VIDEO

* Grimes visited with OL Landon Dickerson on Wednesday.

* Robinson visited with four-star DB commit Marlon Character on Tuesday.
