** Good day today. Thanks his staff and everyone that helped during this transition. This is a big moment for everybody -- our football program, these players and their families. Proud of the guys that signed.
** Signed six today. Still several spots left so we're not done. We chose guys that wanted to play here and that we could develop.
** Cayden Bridges -- hard hitter, plays hard. Very focused, handles his business.
** Tavarish Dawson -- never waivered through coaching staff. Great eneergy talking to him and a great player. Helped us in recruiting.
** Juwan Gaston -- a competitor. Great job senior year, playmaker, football player.
** Eku Leaota -- very developed, pass rush, has three years.
** Colby Smith -- big human being, great personality, wanted to be here. Best football is ahead of him. Will help us on OL, a guy we can develop.
** Joko Willis -- quick, loves ball, fits what we want at LB. Right fit for him once this opportunity came up.
** Mid-year guys that are here now are in the program and doing work, developing and excited about where we're going.
** Hope to finish class by this summer. Still opportunities for guys to be a part of this program.
** Devan Barrett will be back as a RB. Not done at the RB position in recruiting. We need depth. Have an opportunity to bring in some new players at RB.
** Chandler Wooten, Traivon Leonard and T.D. Moultry are the only senior returning.
** Transfer portal will be interesting for everyone. Have to evaluate them and make sure it's the right fit. There's a reason they're leaving their current program. Need the right players and persons in our program. Will continue to use it.
** Done with signees for today. No done through next 48 hours.
** Recruiting has been competitive at every program he's been a part of. Players have to want to be in a program as tough as Auburn and want to develop. We have something here that is different.
** Harsin said it's important for him to evaluate players in recruiting and make sure they have the talent and are good fits. Also have to have a plan to develop them, a vision. If you do those two things, you can develop a culture. Enjoys doing those parts.
** Missing a huge portion of recruiting with in-person evaluations. There's nothing like seeing players at a high school game or practice. Extremely important for anybody when you're evaluating talent.
** Needs going forward: RB, OL, DB. Got to fill those needs if we find the right fit.
