I haven't seen a complete list like this out there. This is what the NFL version of our Tigers did this week. They wont all make teams but it is pretty cool to see for sure. $1 to the Houston Texans who have the most alumni from Auburn on the field.
- Middle linebacker Josh Bynes made three tackles and recovered a fumble while getting his first action of the preseason in a 27-3 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night.
- Quarterback Cam Newton of the Carolina Panthers completed 11-of-17 passes for 142 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions in a 25-14 victory over the New England Patriots on Friday night. Newton also ran for 13 yards on two carries, including an 11-yard run on third-and-9 during the opening series of the game that ended with a scary landing for the quarterback. Newton went off the field to the medical tent, but missed only three plays before coming in to finish one of three field-goal drives that he directed in the first half.
- Lawson sacked Allen on the third snap of the game, shared a sack with defensive tackle Geno Atkins on the first play of the second quarter and sacked the rookie again to end the Bills' next possession.
- Right guard Braden Smith of the Indianapolis Colts played 34 offensive snaps in a 23-17 victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday afternoon.
- Right outside linebacker Dee Ford (St. Clair County) of the Kansas City Chiefs made two tackles while playing 11 defensive snaps in a 27-20 loss to the Chicago Bears on Saturday afternoon.
- Running back Peyton Barber and cornerback Carlton Davis of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a 33-30 loss to the Detroit Lions on Friday night. Barber played only the opening series of the game, carrying five times for 34 yards and ending the drive with a 14-yard touchdown run. Davis returned after missing last week's game because of an ankle injury to make two tackles during 30 defensive snaps.
- Cardinals safety Rudy Ford (New Hope) made two tackles and recovered a fumble against the Cowboys.
- Atlanta Falcons long snapper Josh Harris snapped seven times in a 17-6 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday night.
- Bears cornerback John Franklin III, cornerback Jonathon Mincy and place-kicker Cody Parkey against the Chiefs. Parkey connected on field goals of 48 and 19 yards and made his three extra-point attempts. Mincy made one tackle in 16 defensive snaps, and Franklin played 17 defensive snaps.
- Panthers running back Cameron Artis-Payne ran for 15 yards on six carries and caught two passes for 13 yards while playing 10 offensive snaps against the Patriots.
- Cleveland Browns offensive tackles Shon Coleman and Greg Robinson in a 5-0 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night. Robinson played 24 offensive snaps, and Coleman played 13.
- Lions running back Kerryon Johnson ran for 25 yards on four carries while taking 10 snaps against the Buccaneers.
- Denver Broncos outside linebacker Jeff Holland was on the field for one defensive snap and four special-teams plays in a 29-17 victory over the Washington Redskins on Friday night.
- Green Bay Packers defensive tackle Montravius Adams and safety Jermaine Whitehead in a 13-6 loss to the Oakland Raiders on Friday night. Adams made four tackles in 34 defensive snaps, and Whitehead made two in 29 defensive snaps while also getting on the field for 16 special-teams plays.
- Houston Texans defensive end Angelo Blackson, wide receiver Quan Bray, wide receiver Sammie Coates (Leroy), fullback Jay Prosch (UMS-Wright) and offensive lineman Chad Slade (Moody) in a 21-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday afternoon. Bray caught two passes for 21 yards, including a 3-yard touchdown reception with 5:54 to play, but the Texans failed to connect on a 2-point conversion pass. Bray also had a 10-yard punt return. Coates, who left last week's game with a concussion, returned with a 32-yard catch and a 24-yard kickoff return. Slade played 48 offensive snaps, Blackson made one tackle in 19 defensive snaps and Prosch got on the field for two offensive snaps and seven special-teams plays.
- Jaguars running back Corey Grant (Opelika) stayed busy in his 16 offensive snaps against the Falcons with five carries for 32 yards, including a 19-yarder, and five receptions for 39 yards.
- Chargers safety Blake Countess made one tackle while playing 25 defensive snaps against the Texans.
- Minnesota Vikings place-kicker Daniel Carlson and safety Tray Matthews in a 21-20 victory over the Seattle Seahawks on Friday night. The Vikings declared Carlson the winner of their kicking competition and cut Kai Forbath last week, then Carlson was wide left on a pair of 42-yard field-goal attempts against the Seahawks. He made his only PAT attempt. Matthews got on the field for two defensive snaps and nine special-teams plays.
- Patriots cornerback Jonathan Jones played for the first time this preseason against the Panthers. He made a tackle and forced a fumble while on the field for 10 defensive snaps and five special-teams plays.
- New Orleans Saints defensive tackle Devaroe Lawrence made two tackles and shared a sack during his 15 snaps in a 36-7 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday night.
- Raiders defensive tackle Gabe Wright played 25 snaps against the Packers.
- Forty-niners safety Robenson Therezie made two special-teams tackles against the Colts.
- Seahawks cornerback Trovon Reed made one tackle while playing eight defensive snaps against the Vikings.
- Buccaneers defensive lineman Davonte Lambert played 25 defensive snaps against the Lions.
- Tennessee Titans linebacker Daren Bates made five tackles while on the field for 26 defensive snaps and 11 special-teams plays in a 16-6 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday afternoon.
- Redskins center Casey Dunn (Hewitt-Trussville) and linebacker Cassanova McKinzy (Woodlawn) against the Broncos. Dunn played 23 snaps, and McKinzy got on the field for 10 defensive snaps and five special-teams plays.
