Just a minor caveat here....
With that said... Missouri, Kentucky, ULM, Vandy, and A&M are very winnable. And if HEW didn't panic into starting Hank Brown, we are likely 3-1 with some room to absorb a loss like Cal.

First lets look at who we have to play:
Missouri - allowing 24 ppg vs. P5, allows 5.5 ypp which ranks 10th in the SEC
Kentucky - allowing 22 ppg vs. P5, allows 4.94 ypp which ranks 8th in the SEC
Vandy - allowing 28.5 ppg vs. P5, allows 5.95 ypp which ranks 12th in the SEC
ULM - allowing 23.7 ppg vs. P5, allows 5.18 ypp which ranks 61st nationally
Aggie - allowing 20 ppg vs. P5 , allows 5.57 ypp which ranks 11th in the SEC
It would probably be fair to suggest that Missouri is the only ranked team Auburn will play among those opponents (A&M currently ranked, but with potentially two losses before coming to Auburn in November)
Payton Thorne vs. unranked opponents
2023: 126/194 for 1380 yards, 65%, 7.1 ypa, 14 TD - 6 INT, with a 142 Passer Rating 6-3 W/L vs. Unranked
2022: 160/254 for 1800 yards, 63%, 7.1 ypa, 13 TD - 7 INT, with a 133 Passer Rating 4-4 W/L vs. Unranked
2021: 173/273 for 2524 yards, 63%, 9.2 ypa, 23 TD - 7 INT, with a 163 Passer Rating 9-0 W/L vs. Unranked
19-7 vs. unranked opponents
He might rock a terrible mullet and fold quicker than a cheap lawn chair vs. great teams. But he slaps faces with his dick vs. bad teams.
Ride this man to 6 wins, save the recruiting class, keep HEW on the sidelines for at least another season.
The answer is simple, but its not popular. You don't have to be good with it, but you will be satisfied.

You should absolutely feel terrified vs. Oklahoma and uga
