Apparently auburn has become one of the most expensive public universities in the country.....WSJ does a deep dive on the spending of tuition......From reading the article it looks like auburn has played the game in order to move up in the U.S. News and world reports ranking......Spend on new buildings, dorms, state of the art workout center etc. Unfortunately that goal undermines the original goal of the university and makes the institution more elitist.....
