Evidence could link serial killer to Berkeley County boy’s 1989 murder
Attorneys representing the parents of a 5-year-old boy accused of killing him in 1989 presented new evidence suggesting a serial killer may have been in the area and responsible for the child’s murder.

35 years ago. No new evidence, but they decide to arrest the elderly parents now? I'm not saying they didn't do it, they probably did. This just seems like a waste of time. They couldn't even bring up charges in 1989, but now all the the sudden the circumstantial evidence makes enough sense for them to think they can get a conviction? Seems odd, especially with a serial child rapist and murderer being some what nearby at that time. It also fits his MO....... not necessarily his Signature though.
