Seems like we see mass shootings every week now. It's hard to find reliable statistics on public mass shootings but the Mother Jones data shows that since 2000, 78% of public mass shooting fatalities occurred in Democrat/Swing states while 64% of fatalities occurred under Obama. In fact, 8 states (including DC), all democratic (with swing state VA), were responsible for 60% of fatalities. The list was CA, CT, VA, WA, WI, NY, MN, DC. Oddly enough - if you look at a list of states with toughest gun laws, CA tops the list...yet still has the most mass shootings.
It's too bad people aren't willing to take a deeper look at the statistics because they would find that gun laws are an absolute failure.
