When did the Houston Texans go away from their Navy and Red uniforms to Black and now bucket of crap that they wore yesterday?

I've always thought their normal uniforms looked good. The Texans, the Rams, the Redskins and the Falcons have made a mockery of great uniforms to the crap that they all wear now. They all look like XFL reject crap as opposed to their iconic uniforms they have historically worn. (I get the Redskins are no more but still, Washington's current attempts at uniforms are major fails).
