Is it because in two years Deion has:
-Won the SWAC conference title last year and will win it again this year
-14-0 in the last 14 conference games
-Won the Eddie Robinson Award - Best coach in FCS
-His son, Shedeur, won Jerry Rice Award – Best freshman in FCS
-Jackson State broke all time FCS attendance record – Averaged 42,000 fans, previous record was 30K.
-JSU DT Antwan Owens was the very first college football player to ink a NIL Deal
-In 2021, more people attended the Soul Bowl between Jackson State and Alcorn State (58,892) than the Egg Bowl between Mississippi State and Ole Miss (55,601).
-In 2017, JSU’s athletic budget was $8 million, ranking them 337 out of 347 NCAA Division 1 schools. By comparison, Nick Saban made $9 million and Alabama’s athletic budget was $180 million. Deion makes $300K and donates half of that back to the program.
-Finished #55th nationally in 247 composite rankings in 2021, only FCS team ranked and ahead of UCF, Boise St, South Carolina, just to name a few.
-Recruited the first and only 5-star, Travis Hunter, to ever commit to an FCS school.
-Quote from Travis Hunter “one reason I picked Jackson State was to be coached by one of the best to ever do it.”
And for those saying he only recruited one good dude. I submit to you his JSU roster is the FCS equivalent to the UA or UGA rosters.
Notable Recruits

There are several really good former 3- star transfers I left off the list. My parting shot is that Deion is the only coach Bama fans don't want us to get. That should tell you something.
