Auburn is still expected to host Deuce Knight this weekend on an official visit, his fourth trip to the Plains in five weeks. That's still a really good sign for Auburn, which I still consider the front runner to flip Knight from Notre Dame.
Now, that could change at some point down the road...I'm expecting Auburn to make a strong push this weekend to get the flip done. Signed. Sealed. Delivered. Auburn wants this over. If it's not done this weekend or in the following days, I think some old friends could seriously reenter the conversation...hence why Julian Lewis was added back to the hot board this week. There's a little bit of movement there, but for now, the focus does remain on Knight.
Either way, I feel confident that Auburn will get a very talented quarterback this class — in due time...
