Rivals250 OL Andrew Babalola has been weighing his options since the summer and with each passing day we're closer to his decision. How close? It's difficult to put an estimate on when, but here's what I'm hearing.
Auburn's felt good about where it sits in his recruitment for a while. As of earlier this month, the Tigers felt like they're as in it as they've ever been. The staff talks with Babalola every single day, as do a number of current commits. Right now, there's probably a 50% degree of confidence among Auburn that it can land Babalola. Michigan, Oklahoma and Stanford are the other programs involved.
There's also another factor that intrigues Babalola — who would he be protecting? Auburn currently is without a quarterback in its 2025 class, but things seem to be trending in the direction that it could change, and soon. If Auburn flips Deuce Knight from Notre Dame, that could be what Babalola needs to see to jump on board.
