Beyond the obvious on QB play or general offensive productivity, for me it is finding out what is happening at wide receiver.
That is perhaps the one position group that we have little grasp on what the depth chart looks like. We’ve heard positive reports on a variety of guys but then practice reports come out that have Mardiner and Kelly running with the ones and those are two guys we’ve heard the least about.
We really need someone to step up to be our #1 guy that our QB can trust when they need a 1st down. That may just end up being Fairweather (likely) but would be good to have a guy on the outside or out of the slot, too.
