... to get a second opinion on my knee. First, WOW at the bucks it took to build a facility like that! In my exam room there were autographed pics from Carmello (sp?) Anthony, Curt Schilling, Ozzie Newsome and several other pros I didn't recognize, all thanking Dr. Andrews and staff.
Here's my question: anyone ever been fitted with one of those "bionic" knee braces, the kind with the adjustable wheel on the side to increase the push that alleviates pressure on the knee? I got one and can walk around with much less pain, but I'm wondering about long-term. Knee replacement is still going to have to happen, but I'm wondering how long I can go with this brace.
Anyone with experience with this type of brace?
