Their season starts Feb. 16 against Longwood. I've got a video interview with Butch Thompson below but here's some updates...
** Davis Daniel has missed about a week with an abdominal strain but is set to return this week. His arm is good. Butch hasn't settled on a starting rotation other than Casey Mize Friday. Tanner Burns and Cody Greenhill both threw today and looked real good.
** Freshman Edouard Julien has been swinging a hot bat but doesn't really have an position right now. Still developing as a middle infielder and now getting some reps in outfield. Auburn probably has 11-12 guys that can hit, which should give them plenty of depth and a good bench.
** Going to have to play Conor Davis in LF and Steven Williams in RF at times to get all the good bats in lineup. Williams will also catch and DH.
** Luke Jarvis has been slowed by a back injury but was out there today and looked pretty good.
