Who will be this weeks biggest losers?

Week 1 losers include:

Mich - Losing at Utah us not terrible, but the continued futility of one of the most storied programs with the return of its prodigal son at the helm is worthy of mention.

Neb - Another storied program losing its opening game under a new coach to a team from Utah. New coach Mike Riley managed to do something not done in 30 years at Nebraska by losing his opening game. Losing on a last second Hail Mary to a Mormon university just made it more dramatic.

Penn St - Another storied program losing its opener. Losing to Temple for the first time since 1941. Temple Was winless against Penn St in 39 straight games since before WWII in the series. The win broke the longest series winless streak in college football. Temple won convincingly 27-10, and dominated the game with 10 sacks.

Vandy - Almost sadly, Vandy loses its home opener to WKU. A failed 2-point conversion made the difference.

Kan - One of the home openers lost in dramatic fashion to FCS school South Dakota State 41-38. The game ended with a fumbled snap on an attempted spike to stop the clock, allowing time to run out with Kansas close to FG range. The KSU band added insult to injury with their fitting halftime formation.
