I'm looking to add one of these to my Rectec for quicker and smaller cooks. I watched a youtube video where this guy loved his but said when doing a longer smoke like a butt or ribs that the charcoal or wood chunks needed to be replaced because they would burn out. Said he would have to take the meat off while he replaced the coal. I could see where that could turn into a pain having to do this a couple of times during say a brisket cook. The site shows you can lift the grates on either side with a small section of the grate, just didn't know if you would have enough space then to replace the coal. Has anyone had any experience with this unit?
