Many members here have been incredibly kind and generous over the years, by actively becoming a part of the mission at Prescott House. I’m asking and I’m praying that many of you will, once again, step up and help.
For those of you that don’t know, Prescott House is a Child Advocacy Center in Jefferson County Alabama. Their purpose is to off help and restore hope to children who have been physically and sexually abused. It’s heartbreaking that a place like Prescott House needs to exist. Unfortunately, not only do they need to be here but they are overwhelmed with work. They give children a safe place to go to work through the process instead of having to see Lawyers and police stations and DHR offices. All of those entities can come under one safe and comfortable roof to make the process as easy as possible. If you spent a week with the staff there and you saw what they see everyday, you would be fighting each other to be a part of helping in what they do. They are changing lives every single day.
Im asking you to get a group of friends or coworkers and come out and play a round of golf, enjoy some great food and help the children of Jefferson County. I’m asking, if you own a business, sponsor a hole or a meal. Just find a way to be a part of this very worthy cause.
