I currently have a 12 year old yellow lab he is an unbelievable family dog and is getting older. Still loves to play ball but you can tell he is getting older. When we got him we had another dog but that dog passed 5 years ago. My daughter really wants a puppy for her birthday and we for sure will get another dog at some point in time. Trying to determine if now is a bad time with our older dog. Any advice or similar experiences is greatly appreciated.
