Long story short, I dropped my mobile phone and broke the screen about 2 weeks ago. Not to worry, insurance covered the replacement less deductible. So, I didn't do the whole restore from the old phone since I keep my phone backed up to Google for contacts and data. So my new phone arrives and I begin setting it up. AT&T asks during the setup if I want to sync my texts messages. So not thinking or worrying about what I just agreed to (since I did not have text on my new phone), AT&T proceeds to load my new phone with all my text messages from the past 2 years. Holy chit, made interesting reading, but scary that someone is archiving those things and analyzing them.
