Wife and I are trying to plan an early summer trip with the kids (ages 6 & 9) (nice).
Mid-June timing. We're talking maybe an all-inclusive resort in Cancun or Cozumel, somewhere down 'yunder. I voted just hitting San Diego or something on the coast but for the money there isn't much difference between that and Mexico really.
*editors note: I've traveled all over the world but never been to Mexico and never had a desire to stay at a resort down there, but... wifey wants, so wifey is getting*
-Prefer something with a water park for the kids (at least some slides into the pool, ya know?)
-Budget for a 4 night stay in the $2,000-$3,000 range max. (seems very doable based on the ones I've scoped out thus far)
*edit* some of y'all mistook me for a pour. I already know flights are well over $3k I'm just asking about lodging
-All-inclusive is the goal. I see some advertise 'kids stay for free!' but when I price those they're still higher than most so not sure that's much of a benefit.
Also, totally open to other places and other countries for that matter. She and I are headed to Europe in July too so needed to keep this trip a 'tad' more budget friendly lol 😩
