• XADAG (with tangential support from Gogue) panic hires Harsin.
• Important People immediately stand against Harsin.
• Harsin does nothing to change that dynamic, so it decays.
• Important People indirectly create conditions favoring an investigation into Harsin.
• Investigation (predictably) isn't able to prove wrongdoing, so Harsin stays.
• Important People resume plans to restore Auburn by hiring Coach X or Coach Y or Coach Z.
• Important People use back channels to gauge interest (or maintain comms with) X, Y, Z.
• Team falters against conference opponent(s).
• Decision made among Important People that Harsin must go. President signs off.
• New, full-time AD hired
• Rich McGlynn fires Harsin.
