As many of you know, around this time last year I was served with divorce papers the day before my daughter’s first birthday. I could not attend her first party and was completely devastated. Not only that, but I had just got off of active duty and moved up to Massachusetts, and had no support system in place. After careful and considerable discussions with my attorneys, I elected to not have the case changed to Alabama.
I am pleased to say that this gamble paid off, and I have split custody of both my children. I will get them for a week at a time, and vice versa. I have found a place up here, and look forward to the next chapter of my life.
Thank you to everyone on here who reached out to me, and helped me with all types of advice. I know this place gets contentious at times, but when someone is in need of help, this place always pulls through. War Eagle and we gonna kick some UDub ass come Saturday afternoon!
