Auburn F Jaylin Williams went down with a right knee injury against Kentucky last weekend.

An MRI taken on Sunday morning showed no structural damage. Still, the player is very sore and hasn’t yet been cleared to practice. He spent a portion of Monday’s practice on an exercise bike, which was considered excellent progress.

The prevailing expectation right now is that Williams will return for the SEC Tournament. He’s definitely out for the next four games, no questions asked.

Auburn will experiment with lineups with him out. Expect to see a “big” lineup with Johni Broome at 4 — and a “small” lineup with Chad Baker-Mazara at 4. Georgia uses a four-guard lineup for the most part, so expect to see CBM and Chaney at 4 in Athens. Auburn will need to be bigger at Tennessee.
